Little books with a big impact

The Little Books of Justice and Peacebuilding are just that – little books that explore the practice and theory of justice and peacebuilding, especially restorative justice.
Howard Zehr, often considered the “grandfather of restorative justice,” founded this series in 2002, with the original edition of the Little Book of Restorative Justice. Updated in 2015, it has sold more than 100,000 copies worldwide.
With each book just 80-100 pages, written in lay language, and priced between $6 to $9, they are an invaluable resource for community members, justice and peacebuilding practitioners, and academics alike. Though focused on the United States context, the books have been widely distributed across the globe given the universality of themes.
